Im Stuart McWilliam from Dumfries in South West Scotland. I have a passion for travel ,Wintersports, Football ,Horse Racing , Good food and Wine and I enjoy taking photographs of a wide range of subjects including Family (which includes Horses and our White German Shepherd Poppel).
Dumfries and Galloway is an area of Scotland often overlooked or bypassed by visitors/tourists which is a real pity. This large region is very diverse with a long magnificent coastline with many small towns and villages dotted along it from the Solway Firth all the way across Wigtown and Luce Bays to Portpatrick and Stranraer. The area is heavily forested with many great walking and mountain bike trails. The Southern Uplands also has some remote Mountain terrain from the Galloway Hills in the West to the Moffat and Lowther Hills in the East. As well as the main town in the region Dumfries there are lots of delightful smaller towns and villages to visit and explore such as Moffat,Castle Douglas,Kirkcudbright,Langholm,Newton Stewart,Wigtown and Portpatrick.
